Refund Policy — myCogni Chat and myCogni Search

We want you to buy without risk. If myCogni isn’t right for you, we’ll give you your money back. This policy is a commercial guarantee from [COMPANY NAME] (“Dizzy Agency”), VAT no. [VAT], and applies in addition to the rights the law gives you. It does not limit them.

1. 14-day guarantee on your first purchase — no questions asked

  • If you bought a Subscription for the first time and the product isn’t right for you for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • You don’t need to explain why. If you’d like to tell us what didn’t work, we’ll appreciate it, but it isn’t a condition.
  • The guarantee applies even if you have downloaded the plugin or activated the Key.
  • It applies once per Customer and per product (myCogni Chat / myCogni Search). It does not apply to repeat purchases after an earlier refund of the same product.

2. Renewals — refund within 7 days if unused

  • If you were charged for an automatic renewal and did not want to continue, you can request a full refund of the renewal charge within 7 days of the charge date, provided the renewed Subscription has not been used.

  • “Not used” means that, after the renewal date, no new version has been downloaded with the Key, no support request has been submitted and no new Website activation has been added.

  • Together with the refund, automatic renewal is cancelled and the Subscription expires.

  • So that you never even need a refund, we email you a reminder before every yearly renewal. You can cancel renewal at any time from your account.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

[DECISION — if monthly plans are offered. Proposal:] For monthly Subscriptions, the 14-day guarantee in clause 1 applies to the first charge. Subsequent monthly charges are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again.

4. Upgrades

If you upgrade your plan (e.g. from 1 to 5 Websites) and request a refund within 14 days of the upgrade, we refund the difference and you return to your previous plan.

5. When no refund is given

  • After the deadlines in clauses 1 and 2 have passed.
  • Where abuse is found (e.g. publishing or sharing the Key, repeated purchases and refunds).
  • For charges from the AI Provider (e.g. OpenAI, Google, Mistral AI, OpenRouter), which you pay directly to that provider with your own account. These do not concern Dizzy.
  • For paid customisation or installation work that you ordered separately and that has been completed.

6. How to request a refund

  1. Email [EMAIL] with the subject “Refund”, stating your order number and the email used for the purchase,
    or click “Request refund” in your account on dizzygrowth.com [DECISION: if such a button is provided].
  2. We will confirm receipt of your request within [2] business days.
  3. The refund is made using the same payment method you used, at the latest within 14 days of approval. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
  4. On refund, the License Key is deactivated automatically and updates, support and the features enabled by a Key stop. The code you already have is governed by the GPL license.
  5. We issue the corresponding credit note.

7. The statutory right of withdrawal (for Consumers)

If you are a Consumer, the law gives you a right of withdrawal within 14 days. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, this right is lost once delivery (download or activation) begins with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you lose it, which you give at checkout (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 3i of Greek Law 2251/1994).

In practice, though, you lose nothing: our commercial guarantee in clause 1 gives you the same 14 days for a full refund, even after download or activation.

If delivery has not begun, you can exercise the statutory right of withdrawal by any clear statement (e.g. an email to [EMAIL]). You may also use the model form below:
